WHO WE ARE

FOGFUELS™ produces biodiesel from FOG (Fats, Oils and Grease) that frequently make their way into residential and industrial waste streams and are a documented source of Sanitary Sewer System (SSO) overflows. SSOs cost hundreds of millions of dollar annually in remediation efforts, fines from regulatory authorities and in the US, sicken more than 2 million people each year. When disposed of improperly, FOG plugs sewer lines, and even when disposed of by approved methods, this resource typically ends up as landfill waste.

A growing population puts increasing pressure on aging infrastructure, making FOG a real problem in many municipalities. Based in Atlanta, GA., we work with stakeholders, regulatory authorities and end-users to deliver end-to-end solutions to a growing and costly global environmental problem.
  • FOGFUELS™ produces road-ready ASTM D6751 biodiesel from waste streams, preventing FOG from entering watersheds and protecting waste water streams
  • Biodiesel is a critical element in the Alternative Energy solution, reducing the dependency on foreign oil imports and answering the call Energy security and independence
  • Capturing and processing FOG into biodiesel allows stakeholders to significantly reduce compliance and remediation costs and permits them to re-purpose those funds to more critical areas, better serving the population
  • FOGFUELS™ delivers a “tool box” that can be used by stakeholders and regulatory agencies to help ensure compliance with regulations
  • The FOGFUELS™ solution promotes the development of Green Jobs while still supporting prudent fiscal responsibility
Municipalities

Commercial

Our FOG recycling program can enhance a hauling operation by lowering disposal costs, truck miles traveled and labor costs.
Residential

FOGs (fats, oils and grease) dumped into sewer lines leads to blockages and problems like raw sewage overflows in municipal water systems.
